Mason was born and raised in Riverdale, NY and has embraced the

camp lifestyle since he started his adventures at 6 years old boarding a bus

for sleepaway camp in New Hampshire.  Even when he was ‘too old’ to attend camp, he packaged and rolled his fantastic memories into his counselor experience as a specialty instructor at a Westchester day camp.  Mason went on to study at Lehigh

University where he achieved an athletic leadership role being the captain of

the baseball team.  After graduating, he jumped right into the business environment finding the best mentors to learn from as he built a successful career in sports marketing and real estate.  But something was missing in his corporate

job and he decided it was time to follow his dreams and open his own business,

a neighborhood gym on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.  He grew his business to a half dozen clubs throughout New York and Chicago, promoting health and wellness to his members and working with local teens on the importance of fitness and lifestyle.  After having partnered with the owner of his sleepaway camp in the fitness industry for ten years, Mason truly solidified his vision of owning/directing a camp.  As he expanded his family with the addition of his first son Carter in 2013, his second little guy, Cooper, two years later; and in 2018 he welcomed his daughter Sage, it became the ideal time for Mason and his wife Alissa to embrace the great privilege to step into a leadership position of an amazing operation at Meadowbrook Country Day Camp.



The Goldberg Family has been residing in Manhattan for the past several years and is now a permanent resident on the Meadowbrook property at East Valley Brook Road!



Mason is a hands-on director who will be available to you and your children each and every day, any time of year, with one goal in mind; to create wonderful memories and friendships that last forever.
