The trip begins with an early drop-off at Meadowbrook at 7:30 AM on Tuesday. We will leave camp on a luxurious Air-Conditioned Charter Bus and head for the Challenge Family Fun Center before we check-in at our Hotel. We then head to Chocolate World where we will eat dinner, see a 3-D Movie and enjoy the Chocolate World Tour. On our second day, we will be thrilled by the rides and attractions of Hershey Park. We will spend day three tubing down the Delaware River before returning to Camp for a late pick-up at 6:00 PM.
The Club Med of camping! Our campers will enjoy a real sleep-away camp experience at their beautiful 200 acre scenic camp site with air-conditioned bunks. Campers will use their regularly scheduled Meadowbrook transportation to camp on Tuesday and then home from camp on Thursday. Activities at Club Getwaway include Sports, Crafts, Nature, Boating, High Ropes Course, Special Evening Activities, Banana Boat Rides, an (in)famous Tween Talent Show and so much more! - Please note that there are no late return buses for extended overnight trips. All Campers must be picked-up at Camp.
- The cost of these optional Tween overnight trips is not included in the base tuition and Campers must be enrolled for the week the trip occurs.
